Scooter stolen in Langdale Drive robbery

A WOMAN who started her scooter about to begin a journey was pushed of it by a thief who drove off, picking up an accomplice who was waiting around the corner.

The robbery took place in Langdale Drive, Hayes, on Sunday evening at 8.20pm.

The 53 year-old woman had just put the keys in the ignition of the red Peugeot scooter when she was approached by a young suspect who forcefully pushed her away, before stealing the scooter.

He rode off down Charville Lane, picking up his friend along the way.

Both men are described as being 20-25, the main assailant is white, about 5 ft 10 and was wearing a black hooded top and beige jeans. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

His friend is described of being of oriental appearance and is around 6 ft.
